Dr. Reinisch is a highly-esteemed plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a Harvard Medical School graduate. His clinical and research focus is pediatric plastic surgery and congenital ear deformities.
Through his exceptional care and treatment approach, Dr. Reinisch has helped transform the lives of more than 20,000 children nationwide and worldwide.
Dr. Reinisch is known internationally as the creator and innovator of the MEDPOR® ear reconstruction technique, a groundbreaking advancement in ear reconstruction.
In 1983, the esteemed doctor started the Division of Plastic Surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, now one of the world’s most vibrant and dynamic centers for pediatric healthcare.
Dr. Reinisch has actively supported the Small Wonders Foundation for almost two decades. This California-based nonprofit organization provides financial aid, information, and encouragement to families affected by noticeable birthmarks and other congenital issues.
Dr. Reinisch has contributed over 100 articles and book chapters to his field’s literature and received multiple awards and recognitions from various organizations.
